How To Use Fireball Wand

Using the wand is extremely easy!

However, to prevent breaking the wand and having the best experience:

  1. Do NOT use wet flash paper as the inside of the wand will break if it comes into contact with water
  2. Do NOT point the wand at people or keep it “ON” when not in use
  3. Do NOT look straight down into the wand, use a mirror to see if the inside if you need to
  4. Do NOT push down unnecessarily on the flash paper, this will break the wand. You should feel a light pressure when the paper is inserted fully
  5. Do NOT for any reason put anything other than flash paper inside the wand. Any other paper will break the wand

How To Use:

Insert the flash paper into the wand. The paper should glide in smoothly; if it doesn’t this means the paper is too thick or too thin and should be redone. Keep LIGHTLY inserting the paper until you feel a  pressure resisting your push.

This pressure is the heating coil and it is very sensitive! You do not want to break it! If your paper is too short, you can lightly tap the paper in util it reaches the heating coil

Troubleshooting:

If your wand does not work please follow this guide:

  1. Turn off the wand and remove the flash paper and examine it
    1. If your flash paper is wet you have exposed the inner coil to water and have most likely broken the wand. You can wait for the flash paper to completely dry and try again but the wet paper has likely destroyed the wand.
    2. If the flash paper is dry move on to the next step
  2. Check the edge of your flash paper
    1. If your flash paper edge is burnt or smokey congratulations! Your wand is still working. This could either be a problem with the flash paper or a problem with debree inside your wand. Get new flash paper, wait for it to dry completely and try again. If it still doesn’t light move onto the next step
    2. If your flash paper edge shows no sign of burning, smoke, or charcoal move onto the next step
  3. Charge the wand for 1 hour then use a mirror to examine the inside of the wand.
    1. Turn off the wand and press the power button while pointing the wand at a mirror. You want to look inside the tube until you can see the coil.
      1. If there is any dust or debris carefully remove it until you can see the coil
    2. Turn on the wand and press the button. You want to see if the coil turns red
      1. If the coil turns red your wand works! You just need to practice your spells by changing around your flash paper sizing and placement
      2. If the coil does not turn red or change color your wand is broken.

If your wand does not produce the fire you would like please follow this guide:

  1. If your wand is not producing any fire at all please refer to the guide above. If it is producing fire this means it is working.
  2. Please ensure your wand is clean by referring to step 3 of the guide above. If your wand is clean and your coil is red this means your wand works and your fireball is not as expected because you lack practice
  3. You need to experiment with different flash paper sizing, shapes, thickness and placement as well as your aim and placement of the wand. Over time you will be able to consistently produce the fireballs you want!
